Polly Cooper is a Scientist in the Analytical Services Division at the Institute of Occupational Medicine. Polly joined IOM in July 2017 after graduating from Heriot Watt University with a First Class MChem Degree with Honours in Chemistry.
Polly is involved in on-site exposure measurement and characterisation of nanomaterials for research projects and commercial clients. Polly works within the wider Analytical Services providing analysis in a number of areas including ICP metal analysis, gravimetric, asbestos identification and XRD, all of which work to UKAS standards. In addition, Polly is an Associate Editor for the SAFENANO website.
