Emma Innes is a Scientist for SAFENANO at the Institute of Occupational Medicine. Emma joined IOM in April 2017 upon graduating from the University of Edinburgh with a MChem (Hons) in Medicinal and Biological Chemistry.
Emma is involved in on-site exposure measurement and characterisation of nanomaterials for research projects and commercial clients. She is Coordinator of the IOM’s international asbestos proficiency testing scheme (AFRICA) and involved in the preparation of risk communication documents (e.g. Safety Data Sheets) as part of the IOM's broader chemical risk services. In addition, Emma is an Associate Editor for the SAFENANO website.
