The H2020 CO-PILOT project aims to develop an open access infrastructure for SMEs interested in the production of high quality (multi-)functional nanocomposites on a pilot scale. The H2020 EIROS project aims to enhance the mechanical properties of composites for increased erosion resistance and self-renewing anti-icing characteristics for operation in extreme environments.

The Lloyd's Register Foundation project has IOM leading activities to provide a comprehensive approach to safety and regulatory issues to explore the potential of a CNT copper composite as a current carrying wire.

The H2020 OptiNanoPro project aims to develop different approaches for the introduction of nanotechnology into packaging, automotive and photovoltaic materials production lines.

UltraWire is an FP7 project which aims to develop a copper nanocarbon composite with significantly improved overall properties, supported by a safety workpackage led by SAFENANO.
