BAE Systems Advanced Technology Centre (ATC) offers a comprehensive capability in MEMS (Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems) to both industry and academia. Providing concept guidance, through to detailed design, fabrication and prototype / product evaluation.
   
Begbroke Nano aims to provide companies involved in MNT with unrivalled facilities for materials characterisation. By forming partnerships with leading analytical equipment manufacturers the Department of Materials at Oxford University are using the funding to provide a dedicated suite for the analysis of micro and nanoscaled structures.
   
The DTI funded Bio-Nanotechnology Centre (UK MNT BNC), opened in summer 2006 at Imperial College London. The Centre is a ?state-of-the-art? facility for rapid prototyping, proof-of-concept R&D, and characterisation of nanomaterials.
