OECD publishes three new documents in the Series on the Safety of Manufactured Nanomaterials
Created by assoceditor on 23/12/2011 09:47:19

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has added three new documents to its Series on the Safety of Manufactured Nanomaterials.

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has this month published three new reports to its Series on the Safety of Manufactured Nanomaterials.

The purpose of the OECD Series on the Safety of Manufactured Nanomaterials is to provide up-to-date information on the diverse activities at OECD related to human health and environmental safety.

The new documents published this month are overviewed as follows:
  • No. 30 - ENV/JM/MONO(2011)52: Regulated Nanomaterials: 2006-2009.  This document provides information on the nanomaterials notified under the various regulatory regimes in OECD jurisdictions, based on responses to the Questionnaire on Regulated Nanomaterials: 2006-2009 issued on the 27th August 27th 2010, with a view to providing an indication of regulatory activity and trends over time.
  • No. 31 - ENV/JM/MONO(2011)53: Information Gathering Schemes on Nanomaterials: Lessons Learned and Reported Information.  This document presents the results of the OECD’s second questionnaire, issued in 2010, aimed at analysing lessons learned from the Information Gathering Initiatives and to collect information on reported nanomaterials.
  • No. 32 - ENV/JM/MONO(2011)54:  National Activities on Life Cycle Assessment of Nanomaterials.  This document compiles information on national activities on life cycle assessment and nanotechnologies provided by delegations, including information from: Austria, Finland, Germany, Korea, Poland, the United Kingdom, United States, the European Commission, as well as from the Business and Industry Advisory Committee to the OECD (BIAC).
